Schnalstal

Five picturesque villages – Katharinaberg/Monte S.ta Caterina, Kathaus/Certosa, Unser Frau/Madonna di Senales, Vernagt/Vernago and Kurzras/Maso Corto - lie in this sunny alpine valley, which offers numerous possibilities for all mountaineers, and for those interested in sports and culture.

Friends of the valley, who follow the traces of the Ice Man Ötzi, are amazed: The Ice Man's spirit lives on in Schnalstal, in its inhabitants, its nature and tradition. The past is presented in a lively way in the new ArcheoParc in Unser Frau.

At the end of the valley you can find the "Schnalstaler Gletscherbahnen". The cable car brings you to 3,200 m to the all-year skiing resort within 6 minutes.

An Eldorado for all skiers and snowboarders with 11 lifts and 35 km of slopes opens up directly in front of the beautiful scenery of the "Texelgruppe" Natural Park.
